Pendlebury House is part of Turning Point, a leading Health and Social Care Organization and a Registered Charity. We are located in a community setting in Swinton, Manchester.
Pendlebury House is an independent hospital and offers packages of rehabilitation to informal and detained service users under the MHA, treatment and care to males and females who experience severe and enduring mental health needs. We aspire to work in true partnership with our SU’s. We encourage everyone to reach their full potential, whilst working towards personal recovery goals. Ultimately our aim is to reintroduce and maintain daily living skills alongside the psychosocial interventions necessary to equip people to live more independently in the community
You will provide timely and accurate provision of administrative support to the service. You will need to communicate clearly and effectively on all levels with the service user group and with your colleagues through different types of correspondence. You will be responsible for keeping accurate records, providing monitoring reports when needed and other administrative tasks such as petty cash, scheduling diaries and taking minutes in confidential meetings. You will also be responsible for ordering and stock control of office supplies for the service and you will be expected to manage your own workload.
At a practical level, you'll need good IT and communication skills including numeracy and literacy in order to produce a variety of reports.
Being organised and punctual is a vital part of the role and along with clear communication skills
Ideally, you will have experience working within the health and social care sector with administrative knowledge and skills.
