Are you driven by the desire to make a real impact on your community? Do you have a passion for fostering diversity and inclusion within education and apprenticeships? If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Community Engagement Officer at Sheffield Hallam.

Working closely with our Apprenticeship and Work based Learning Manager for EDI this role will support and develop initiatives and activities within our apprenticeship and work-based learning programmes. Your focus will be on improving access and opportunities for underrepresented groups, working closely with internal teams, to build a culture of inclusion. Supporting workshops and hosting training sessions and events, communication skills are vitally important in this role.

Working with our current apprentices from minoritised groups and supporting staff to deliver an enhanced learning experience. You will lead workshops and portfolio sessions to enable our apprentices to reach their potential and lead student voice and involvement activities to enrich the experience for our apprentices.
