Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the community and enhancing opportunities for underrepresented groups? Do you have a strong background in outreach, education, or training, with a focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Community Outreach Officer.

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving community engagement and outreach efforts for our apprenticeship and work-based learning programmes. You will work closely with local community groups, employers, and academic teams to increase engagement and opportunities for minoritised groups, ensuring that our apprenticeship applicants reflect the diversity of our community.
The ability to lead and develop engaging workshops and events liaising with various stakeholders will be crucial to the role’s success.

We are looking for a candidate that has a can-do attitude, with great communication skills who can liaise with prospective students and employers. Someone who can juggle various tasks and be able to prioritise effectively. Experience of carrying out a range of administrative duties in an environment of complex regulations and procedure is essential to the role. You will need strong IT and organisation skills and an excellent attention to detail. You will need to be a good negotiator and collaborator with a flexible approach to tasks, ensuring compliance is at the forefront of all work undertaken.
