Key responsibilities as Care Assistant:

- Develop a strong and trusting relationship with clients through regular visits and meaningful conversations. We match using personality so you know you will get on!

- Assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation

- Encourage and engage in leisure activities with clients, such as walks, games, and outings

- Provide emotional support and companionship, helping to combat feelings of loneliness and isolation

- Assist with personal care needs, if necessary

- Document daily activities and any changes in client's health or well-being

- Continuously strive to improve the quality of life for our clients. We use the mum and dad test! If you wouldn't want that happening to your parents its not good enough for our clients!

Qualifications and skills:

- Prior experience in caregiving or a related fieldpreferred but not necessary!

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to be patient, understanding, and empathetic with elderly clients with a passion to improve lives

- Drivers licence with access to car
