Hours:

• 20 hours per week – 2 days a week / Will be on Rota basis.
• 1 weekend on, 1 weekend off
• Overtime available.

Pay Rates: £12.50ph

We have a fantastic team of Carers and a group of exceptional residents looking for someone who can provide wholesome, traditional meals to all.

As one of our highly valued cooks you will:

• Assist in the preparation and provision of the meals provided.
• Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.
• Prepare and cook meals and snacks following pre-set menus in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations to ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing and meet dietary needs.
• Undertake simple stock control, reporting goods to be ordered to the relevant senior staff member to ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment and surrounding areas is maintained to a high level.
• Attend training courses as required.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a cook for a Care Home and have completed food hygiene and allergen training.
