Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic person to join our busy Customer Service / Logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our office by undertaking administrative tasks, stock control and logistics duties, whilst maintaining effective communication within the wider organisation. This position requires a proactive, positive individual with good attention to detail, who enjoys working in a busy environment.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to daily office operations and help ensure efficient workflow.
- Undertake administrative tasks, including data entry, logistics document preparation and filing.

- Pick & pack customer orders and communicate with associated courier companies

-Maintain stock supplies and place orders as necessary.
- Support office staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Handle phone communications with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on projects and tasks.
- Implement organisational systems to improve efficiency within the office.

Requirements
- Experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in using Sage 200 is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Essential:

  • Computer literate including use of Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & telephone manner to be able to build rapport with customers, delivery companies and all colleagues across the organisation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to complete the daily workload
  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the team and the customer
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
