Position: Disability Assessor – PIP Contract
Salary: £37,500
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm (Part Time Option Available)
Work Patter: Hybrid - Remote / Office Based

About the Role:
As a Disability Assessor, you will conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments, covering a wide range of disabilities and health conditions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Using clinical skills to assess and examine claimants.
  • Communicating effectively to gather detailed health information.
  • Writing high-quality, accurate assessment reports.
You'll work autonomously within a supportive multi-disciplinary team, delivering functional assessment reports for Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

Essential Criteria:
  • Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Pharmacist.
  • Full registration with one of the following professional bodies:
  • Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
