Job Description

Overview:

Choose Fairfields Home Care and you can earn £12.00 - £14.00 per hour with mileage at 35p per mile.

As a Community Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents within the Cookstown Area. We have Single and Double runs available!

We are looking Full and Part-time Care Assistants to join out Cookstown Home Care Team. This role is not suitable for sponsorship.

As a Home Care Assistant you can expect:

- Flexible working hours and shift patterns

- Competitive hourly rate (£12 from Monday - Saturday AM, £13 on Saturday B2B and £14 on Sundays. Pay rate is also £12 for sitting services and £15 per hour for named bank holidays).

Key Requirements

- Have 2 suitable references

- Be caring and friendly

- Have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle

- Be eligible to work in the UK

- Good standard of verbal and written English

KEY DUTIES

  • Undertake personal care and daily living tasks as agreed with the service user, their family and the professionals involved with the individual service plan.
  • Assisting and enabling
  • Washing and dressing
  • Providing food and refreshment
  • Mobility
  • Bed making
  • Providing interest in activities to stimulate and engage the service user
  • Companionship and care
  • Administering medication (where required)
  • Record Keeping
