Tamworth:

A major picking depot, employing more than 130 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed.

As a Transport Loader the following is to be expected in the role:

• Ensure that all activities are conducted in line with Safe System of Work.
• Daily briefs with management and staff
• Filling out HACCPs
• Checking off outbound HGVs
• Keeping to an outbound schedule
• Communicating with transport and warehouse
• Inbound/outbound live tracking
• LLOP checks/maintaining, reach truck duties, key control, bay control

Role Details:

• Shift Time: 6pm to 6am
• Pay Rate: £12.50 to £14.80 Per Hour (+ £1.15 for hours worked between 10pm and 6am, + £1.15 for weekend work)
• Overtime: Premiums are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter
• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

What we’re looking for:

• Have experience of working in a warehouse or transport operation.
• Good attention to detail and demonstrable self-discipline to manage your work tasks with minimum supervision
• PPT certified preferred but not essential
• Driving license preferred but not essential
