Overview
We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in a care home setting. The role involves supporting healthcare professionals in delivering essential services and ensuring the well-being of residents.

Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Supporting healthcare professionals in administering medication and treatments
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and the care team
- Contributing to the development and implementation of individual care plans
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assisting with mobility and transfers for residents with varying needs
- Maintaining a clean and organised living environment for residents

Qualifications
- Experience or interest in working within a care home or home care environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with IT systems for recording patient information is advantageous
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents
- Willingness to undergo any necessary training or qualifications required for the role
- A valid driving licence may be beneficial for certain roles within the healthcare setting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £24,272.00-£24,866.00 per year

Expected hours: 44 per week
