Night Porter– Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and Spa, Liverpool

We are currently seeking an experienced hotel Night Porter to assist our fabulous Nights team on a variable basis (can be discussed at interview stage). Our ideal candidate has worked in a similar type property and will thrive on the successful running of this iconic 4 Star hotel.

The Role:

As Night Porter, you will report directly to the Night Manager and will assist us to complete essential Hotel night duties whilst keeping our guests safe and secure. The successful candidate will need to be guest and task orientated, ensuring that accomplishment of duties is a team effort. You will need to have proven experience in Front Office/Reception within Hotels but most importantly, have a positive, driven attitude.

Key Tasks will involve the following:

- To carry out the completion of night walks, cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of customer service at all times.

- To complete accounting reports, audits and process payments at Reception.

- To be proactive with self development and committed to provided training opportunities with support from our Management team.

- Ensuring clear and straightforward communication is maintained with all other operational departments, reporting any successes, issues or faults and establishing a thorough handover to the day team.

- To be responsible for ensuring that there is a high standard of public relations with all guests, dealing with any complaints or compliments and reporting them to the Night Manager.

- To ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to in line with Company, Brand standards and Health and Safety.

Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Hotel Night Porter: 2 years (preferred)
  • Hotel Night Supervisor: 2 years (required)
