YOUR ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced ecommerce operations based at East Midlands Gateway as a Planning Coordinator to support a brand-new transformational customer fulfilment operation.

Working on behalf of a well-known ecommerce brand, you will support with daily operational planning and scheduling of activities to ensure required resource and skill set are in place to enable the operational teams to delivery against customer SLA’s.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Workforce Planning Manager you will manage and maintain forecasting, resource systems and processes ensuring optimum capacity across the warehouse. You will work closely with the wider operational teams to ensure that the flow of labour is managed effectively to deliver against time critical short turnarounds by ensuring plans and preparations are made for key peaks and troughs.

This pivotal role will see you producing effective labour plans for each shift whilst continually reviewing resource requirements, making recommendations according to on-site trends to inform decision making and prepare daily and weekly reports for the Senior Management team.

This is a Monday to Friday role, 40 hours per week.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

It would be ideal to have someone with proven experience of operational resource planning or warehouse labour planning, however we are more than happy to train someone up into the role as long as they eager and willing to learn.
You will need exceptional organisational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to utilise systems and Microsoft packages. As this will be a fast-paced role you’ll ned to be a confident problem solver, and have the ability to communicate, influence and persuade others with decision making. You will also be able to manage and prioritise a busy workload to ensure that deadlines are met.
