Project Coordinator
£22,000 - £27,000
Full Time 8 – 5pm Monday to Friday
AMOB UK are looking for a self-starting individual to join their growing business and deal with end to end project management from close of sale to delivery of machine. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to resolve any issues promptly. Project planning, customer service and supply chain management skills would be beneficial. The role will also include occasional international travel to AMOB's headquarters in Portugal.
The project coordinator role reports to the project manager as a support function for the project process. Duties will be as follows:
· Raising quotations on Sage 200
· Recording customer orders
· Sending purchase orders to the factory in Portugal
· Liaising with customers to manage expectations regarding timescales and logistics
· Handling any issues as they arise
· Attending factory acceptance testing in Portugal
· Arranging shipping/logistics and paperwork
· Chasing customer payments in accordance with the terms of the order
· Managing the open orders spreadsheet
· Creating reports at factory acceptance testing
· Handling customer sign off
· Invoicing the customer and following up with and after-sales support
· Completing ad-hoc duties as necessary
Skills necessary to fulfil the role:
· Process-driven, managing end to end project delivery from the close of sale to machine delivery
· High attention to detail
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal
· IT literate
· Self starter, motivated to take own initiative
· Able to take ownership of each individual sales project
· Effective time management
· Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Problem solver
· Flexible and able to manage shifting priorities
· Able to manage client expectations in a timely manner
