Warehouse Operative and Quality Controller at Craftmill.co.uk

This varied role is required in a modern warehouse operation in Romiley, Stockport (situated next to Romiley train station).

You will be someone who enjoys physical work as your role will be to pick orders, offload and put stock away, control stock on the computer, download orders and invoices to created documents to ship with orders, book transport.

There are opportunities for progression to other roles in the warehouse for the right candidate.

Full training provided.

Approximately 30 hours a week which will range between 8.30 and 3pm (include a paid 20 min lunch break) so you need a little flexibility.

The job would suit someone who lives fairly locally (no more than a single bus or train ride away). Full training provided.

You should be physically fit with no health conditions that may be adversely affected by an active job that involves packing goods and lifting packed cartons. Education to sixth form level is a minimum requirement due to the content of the work. Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) are an advantage. Wage dependent on age/experience.
