Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing support and assistance to individuals in need in the East Lothian , Midlothian or Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be reliable, friendly and have a passion for helping others. We are looking for members of staff to work 28-40 hours over 3-4 days per week. Every other weekend off. We will also consider part time applicants.

Duties:
- Follow instructions from individualised care plans to meet the clients needs
- Provide emotional support to individuals and their families
- Keep up to date with Care Inspectorate and SSSC requirements
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and communicate any concerns with your line manager
- Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they receive appropriate services
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress

Qualifications:
- No prior care experience required as face to face and on the job training is provided
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential

-Applicant must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to your own car.

Benefits:
- Competitive salary £12.90 per hour, increasing to £13.40 per hour after successful probationary period (at least 3 months).

-Guaranteed 5% annual wage increase

-Travel time between clients paid for at £11.50 per hour

-Mileage paid at 45p per mile
