Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join our dynamic team at our day centre. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our service users.

Responsibilities

Activity Planning: Develop and implement engaging and varied activity programs that meet the needs and interests of our service users.
Meal Planning: Plan and coordinate nutritious and enjoyable meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
Care Coordination: Work closely with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe environment for all.
Care Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, tailored to the specific needs of each service user.
Meetings: Attend and participate in meetings with other professionals to discuss the progress and well-being of our service users.
Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Supervisions: Provide supervision and support to team members, promoting professional development and performance.
Governance: Adhere to good governance principles and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Safety: Prioritise the safety and well-being of all service users and staff.

Qualifications

Relevant health and social care qualification (e.g., Level 3 or above)
Proven experience in a care setting, ideally with a supervisory role
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Passion for providing high-quality care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
