Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a therapy assistant practitioner (TAP) to join the ReACH Clacks and Stirling Team. The team provides multi disciplinary assessment and rehabilitation, across Clackmannanshire and Stirling HSCP for adults who require assessment and rehabilitation living in the community.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who will provide support to the allied health professional working within the team, namely, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. There are a further 2 therapy assistant practitioners within the team, and they are a highly respected and valued part of the service, key to delivering rehabilitation programmes. The successful applicant will work under the guidance of the therapists in the team.

The applicant should be able to prioritise fluctuating workloads and work within a busy and challenging community environment. The majority of work is undertaken within the community, typically in people’s homes. Due to the requirement to work across the geographical area, ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk
