Vacancy - Warehouse Assistant and Relief Driver

We are seeking reliable Warehouse Assistant and Relief Driver for our busy Client based in Yate working in a distribution environment. The role is expected to be a 70:30 split in favour of Warehouse work. Start times may vary from 6.00am-8.30am when driving.

Duties for the Warehouse Assistant:

• Picking and packing of products
• Use of handheld scanner
• Some heavy lifting (up to 25 kilos)
• Loading of vehicles
• General warehouse duties
• Working as part of a team

Duties for Relief Driver:

• Van Driving - driving light vans (8 – 16 drops per day)

· Delivering equipment and consumables

· Responsible for ensuring stock and consumables levels are maintained with customers

· Updating relevant systems with information on deliveries and activities, tracking all KPIs.

· On return to the warehouse take undelivered goods to the relevant area

The successful candidate:

· Will have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

· To adhere to all ISO9000, Health & Safety, Personnel Policies and Procedures

• To respect company vehicles and always drive within the law

· To communicate problems, queries and customer requests promptly and in accordance with the line of communication issued

· Be a team player

· Will have previous warehouse experience

· Full UK driving licence
