Job Description

Are you a warehouse operative looking to join a sustainable driven company? Are you looking to develop yourself further?


Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for Warehouse Operative to join the team based at Mossend ML1 4UY.


You will be working 40 hours per week, covering any 5 from 7, across 3 shift patterns (days/backs/nights) – currently the shifts are 0600-1400, 1400-2200 & 2200-0600).

What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Loading and unloading stock from vehicles and checking for any damage
  • Moving stock to correct storage area.
  • Picking orders for the customer (store deliveries not parcel),
  • Building the delivery into pallets/cages and ensuring accurate count/labelling
  • Then, loading these onto trailer & securing.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety in the workplace


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Able to work on your own and as part as a team
