• Job title: Warehouse Operative
• Salary:£12.76ph and when on afternoon shift after 6pm £15.31ph

• Job description : Are you experienced in the world of warehouse work and looking to get your foot in the door of a great company? We are recruiting for our Long standing worldwide company, it provides shipping services through its fleet of container vessels and unit containers. Its cargo handling services include pre-treatment of cargo and packing and stuffing of chilled commodities
• Ideal skills and experience: Some warehouse experience is preferable, you will learn on the job and training will be provided. An eye for detail when checking goods is essential. Have experience using a wrapper machine and heat gun. Previous warehouse goods in/out experience. Be reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Key responsibilities:

Reboxing and sealing stock ready for customer dispatch.

Using the wrapper machine to wrap loads ready for loading to lorries.

Using heat guns to seal the loads.

Taking loads to and from the goods-in areas using a pump truck.

Using hand scan guns to check stock from lorries and allocate them into the correct location.

Manual loading/off-loading smaller stock items, some heavy lifting may be required

Working as a team to meet targets in all areas of the warehouse

• Hours of work: Monday- Friday rotating shifts 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
