Warehouse Operative

Working Hours- 6am - 3pm 5 days a week on a Rota basis.

Purpose: To ensure the delivery of products match the quantity and quality that the company expects. Ensure that all paperwork is completed in accordance with buying and BRC policies.

Daily Tasks:

• Check and sign off all deliveries.
• Quarantine any product that does not reach standards.
• Breakdown of pallets and locate stock in correct pick location.
• Stock rotation
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and yard ensuring recycling is dealt with appropriately.
• Report QC issues.
• Comply with legal requirements relating to food safety and environment as applicable to business needs.
• Complete paperwork.
• Ensure regular stock dates.

Requirements:

Must be able to get to Bishop Sutton without relying on public transport

A working knowledge of fresh produce (Desirable)

Experience of working in a chilled environment (Desirable)

Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team

Forklift licence desirable but not essential

• Fresh produce: 1 year (preferred)
• working in a chilled environment: 1 year (preferred)
• Order picker: 1 year (preferred)
