DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

Loading outgoing HGV vehicles from cross docked lanes ensuring all are loaded in a safe and efficient order.

Ensure all vehicles are loaded efficiently and safely so are ready for the drivers to deliver across the UK .

All are loaded on pallets , cages etc so manual physical work using the correct MHE provided .

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Working either a Sun-Thurs or Mon-Fri night shift 2200-0600 .
• Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures.
• Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders working on despatch lanes loading outgoing vehicles preferable .
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload along MHE experience would be preferable .
